Wireless communication is the transmission of information or data between two or more devices without using physical connections such as cables or wires. Instead, it uses various types of electromagnetic waves, such as radio frequency (RF), infrared (IR), or microwave, to transmit data through the air.

Wireless communication has become increasingly popular over the years due to its convenience, flexibility, and the ability to connect devices over longer distances without the need for extensive cabling. Common examples of wireless communication technologies include:

Wireless communication involves transfer of information without any physical connection between two or more points. Due to this characteristic, wireless communication has certain advantages.
